
Over the past 15 years, Chanel has worked closely with children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings in both Connecticut and Washington DC. She received her Masters of Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelors of Science from Southern Connecticut State University.
Chanel strives to be a facilitator and keeper of the therapeutic space that emphasizes care, compassion, joy, and client centered healing. Using a strengths based approach, she is dedicated to empowering clients of all ages to view themselves as resilient despite past or current circumstances.
As a Clinical Social Worker, Chanel specializes in Child and Adolescent counseling, Play Therapy, Complex Trauma, Grief and loss, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Restorative Practices. Chanel is also trained in adolescent substance abuse.
