
Taylor is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who provides individual therapy to toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults. Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and received her Master of Clinical Social Work from Fordham University in Westchester, New York.
Taylor has experience providing therapeutic services across a variety of settings including DC public schools, and inpatient psychiatry. Taylor works with clients who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, personality disorders, suicidal ideations, OCD, and anger outbursts. She also has experience with behavior management, crisis support, life transitions, and working with individuals on improving their communication and social skills.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with adolescents and young adults has been a focus of Taylor's therapy work. Taylor draws from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based therapy, relational therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative & psychodynamic therapy.
Taylor recognizes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. Taylor strives to create a space that is safe and genuine, where you can bring in what’s hard, what’s confusing, and what feels hopeful. Through collaboration and compassion, Taylor works to help each client better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and build new skills.
